New England Roots with a Global Reach

In the fall of 2007, in an old New England colonial-style house, filled with nothing but a few shiny MacBook Pros, a white board and big dreams of reinventing vendor and workforce management software, 3 Story Software (3SS) was born. Based on the principle that fewer clicks means increased take up and fewer errors, our 3 layers of architecture – user interface, physical and logical architectural layers serve the 3 user types: clients, staffing suppliers and workers.

Over the first three years our team of contingent and extended workforce pioneers and software engineers designed and built a heavy-duty platform that would scale up (and out) to support thousands of customers to better manage their workforce worldwide.

In May of 2011 we were acquired by Hays, the world’s leading recruitment experts. Since then we’ve benefited from their global reach, with offices in over 33 countries, financial strength, world renowned brand, and the passion and intelligence of their leaders.

Today we maintain our pioneering spirit, operating as a stand-alone company within the Hays plc group, determined to evolve the way companies manage their workforces. Our focus remains on making software that seamlessly integrates and streamlines processes and data, reducing complexity, saving you time and money.
